SoL and Polypore

Hey guys, I just wanted your opinion really. Which is better, Staff of light or Polypore staff.

I find that polypore makes my hits more accurate.

i do not have much knowledge on either. isn't SoL the one that increases your def or something?

It depends on what magic level you are and what activity you're doing. I'm 99 magic and I have a Arcane Stream so Polypore hits really high and works fine for places like Barrows. If I do Glacors, though, SoL is much better due to the magic damage increase(you only use fire spells at Glacors). A polypore wouldn't be a bad secondary to kill the glacytes, but I prefer a rapier/melee switch.

depends on what you are doing.. for pking sol is better if you are the blitzer/barrag and poly is better for everything else. For pvm most of the time poly is better than sol not in dmg but it will save you a TON of money

The staff of light is good for the special which gives you a protective shield.
It is good for spells such as ancients.

The Polypore is good for lower pures as it requires no attack of 70 or 75 to use as the SOL does.

But it is very money saving.

I have used both, I enjoy using polypore more, only for the fact that I'm not much of a high risker, and like to look like teh nub pkerzzz. Lol, no really though I'd use SoL pking, Poly for PvM if you're taking them seriously.
